November 14, 2007 at 11:31 AMIn the expansion section there is this phrase: 我把你最喜欢的那本书弄丢了，我心里一直过意不去。 (I lost your favorite book, and I feel really bad about it.) As I have learnt 迷失and 遗失recently, I wonder what the difference is. I usually use 丢. the other ones are new to me and I wonder if I can use them interchangably or if there is a difference in use.

November 13, 2007 at 9:42 AM单纯 must have other connotations than simply "naive". Or would a young woman like being called "naive" to her face? I doubt it. Maybe it conveys the meaning of simple, unsophisticated in a positive sense?

It's kind of sad if you are only liked when your brain power is in high demand. Wang Wei seems to have rather low self-esteem

November 14, 2007 at 1:09 PM想寂州这个课程连续剧的情节 好像我们都忘记了那个神秘的笛声。是不是那些寂州的娃娃吹笛子引诱人到他们那儿。他们的目的我也猜不到。 I am wondering if this story is a reversal of this fairytale of a piper in a German city (I think) who is able to attract/kidnap all the kids by playing the flute. (Anybody knows what I am talking about? Can't remember the name at all). Maybe here the kids of Jizhou are taking revenge, leading good, upright adults into a trap...
