there are other modal verbs: 可以，愿意

eg:    明天我可以去 ( i can go tomorrow)

         明天我愿意去( i would like to go tomorrow)

"直到..." is for describing a time frame that began in the past and continued until a point close to the present. 

it has 2 sentence structure:

第一个：直到+time/event +subject+才...

 example: 直到晚上8我才回家  （it wasn't until 8 o'clock in the evening that I went home.)

第二个：直到+time/event+sub+都，不/没

example: 直到毕业我们都没说过话 （ we had never spoken until we graduated.)

sometimes people ask you how old are you, and then you replied "我大概25岁左右。“

at this time, that person will ask you: "25岁左，还是右？”  it means " you are younger than 25, or older than 25 years old

I think it would be better to say  "我记不起来她的名字"  ( i can't recall her name) instead of "我想不出来她的名字."

there are other words that have similar meanings:

尽管： 尽管我吃的再多，也还是长不胖 (even though I eat a lot,  but I can't get weight)

纵然： 他纵然富裕，但过的并不开心 (even he is very rich, but he is not happy)

纵使： 纵使明天下雨，我也要出去玩  (even if it will rain tomorrow, I'm still going out)
