At the end of the podcast, before playing the dialogue for one last time, Jenny says something like, 那么今天我们就 wei le fen xi dao 这里。。。

What does that "wei le fen xi dao" mean??

xie xie...

Hello there,

i am wondering about the structure on the second to last sentenece.

种类选不出来

if this sentence structure was used,

(a) what other verbs could be used instead of 选 。。。

(b)  if i wanted to say something like "i cannot even find it", should i say "我都找不到了“ or can it also be "我都找不出来了“

(c)  what would be the difference between using 了 at the end or not using it...?

thanks for any input in advance.

I also heard that version about having the left hand reserved for toilet duties... what is the truth?

is the left hand for toilet duties only a thing of the past in india?

我也听说过那个在 toilet 用手的version

哈哈哈。。。  very interesting discussions.  i haven't really listened to the dialogue yet.  but i can already relate to it because a chinese colleague at work always asks if im busy, and i was always kind of puzzled with the question, i thought maybe he was concerned my supervisor gives to much work, or maybe he was concerned there is not enough work (company would starty laying off ppl, etc).

now that I think about it, i never had this kind of cultural advice when learning english, so i wonder now what are the tricks for english (in united states)...   anybody?

note: my background is latin american spanish.   in spanish the leteral translation of "how are you" would be "como estas"  however, that's mostly used for formal situations.  is there a similar discussion in the spanishpod or english pod discussion boards??
