They do believe in it, but they're apprehensive about it. The biggest crisis now facing Chinese Medicine is innovation and development. Chinese medicine has never been precise enough about diagnostic methods and classifying symptoms. So Chinese Medicine was mostly only good for diagnosing and treating individual cases. Not only was this not useful in opening a broad ranging, systematic type of treatment, it was also not good for the training of new doctors.
