Qū Yuán běnlái shì Chǔguó de zhòngyào guānyuán ，hòulái yīnwèi bèi jiānchén xiànhài ，dézuì le Chǔ wáng ，jiù bèi fàngzhú dào le hànshuǐ yǐběide dìfang 。
Qu Yuan was an very important official in the state of Chu. He was later framed by treacherous state officials and ended up offending the king. He was then banished to the northern regions of the Han River.
