I’ve found several Chinese transliterations of Yavuz on the Internet. It seems that 4) 雅乌兹 is most commonly used, but I think that semantically 1) 雅吾兹 and 2) 雅武兹 are also very hard to deny. The character 渥 is not commonly used in modern Chinese. 兹 and 斯 are often used mainly for foreign names. The rest is up to you. Good luck.
1) 雅吾兹 (ya3 wu2 zi1)
2) 雅武兹 (ya3 wu3 zi1)
3) 雅沃兹 (ya3 wo4 zi1)
4) 雅乌兹 (ya3 wu1 zi1)

and for 亚武兹， I hope you are not in Shanghai. It means cicada, but it's pronunciation is similar to 'ya wu si', not very good meaning...

August 26, 2009, 06:23 AMMy name is Spencer Mills...the historical meaning of Spencer is to be a steward of ones property etc. Mills is the english spelling of the Gaelic Milidh meaning soldier. Any help on finding the Chinese equivilant? Thanks!

my suggesstion is that your surname can use
游or尤（you2）.
