I though about that... Henning and Xiaophil don't seem too upset! And it is part of the cycle of life, without which there would be no men. So I still think it is relvant.

haha! Good to know! This might make a good lesson topic (though somewhat embarassing for the presenters) with language about pain meds or chinese medicine. Maybe some cultural information. I assume it is not "high frequency" language, but I would imagine it could be akward if you need to say somthing but don't know how.

The official way to say 'menstrual cyle' is "月经" yuèjīng. But Yuanyun is right, in everyday life, it is usually referred to as "大姨妈" yímā.
