I notice we are now seeing full messages on the Conversations Page, instead of just a snippet. Not sure yet whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.

Is the latest News and Features thread showing up on the Conversations Page for everyone? It isn't for me. What happened?

I just wish it were a glitch, or a bad joke.

I sort of like this, seeing the entire comment without having to click to open the thread. However I don't mind at all if things went back to the way they were before. That was fine.

Yeah, I can see your point. We're out of the office for a few days, so I guess let's just see how it goes for now, keep an eye on people's feedback, then maybe tweak it later. Thanks!

PS. Line breaks would make long comments even longer........

Hi Jason

Comments without line breaks are not so visible, anyway. I think that just showing three (or five?) lines would be enough to see if a certain comment is worth reading for you. Otherwise, it takes "a very long time" to scroll down to glance over all the twenty comments on the conversation page.

Ah, right. You mean it might make people less inclined to post a long comment for fear of overloading the conversations page, right? Hmm... If that ends up being the case, maybe we could look into limited them to a certain word count. (albeit, longer than before)

How would that be? I think it actually makes people's comments more visible to the community, no?

Perhaps this change implies that long comments are not welcome here.

Microsoft would call it a 'feature'.
