In 0:51, it’s not “高中级”, it’s “中高级”.

In the dialogue, “新年夜” should be “除夕”. The latter would more native.

In 0:50, the male in the dialogue pronounced “女朋友” as “nv 3 pen 2 you 3” which should be “nv 3 peng 2 you3”.

In 2:04, 我们度过了一个美好时光“. Usually, “一段美好时光” would be better.

In 3:16, the male host pronounced “结束” (jie 2 shu 4) as “jie 2 su 4”.

In 12:55, “euphemism” is “委婉”.

In 2:42, Jenny pronounced “冷” (leng 2) as “len 2”.

In 6:57, “是不是” isn’t interchangeable with “是吗”, because in this dialogue, “是吗” is used to ask for further confirmation, but to form a question sentence. Besides, “是吗” and “是不是” are different.

“气” doesn’t mean “energy” in common cases. Normally, it means “air”. And here, it would be better if you explain it as “air” as “sky air 天气”.

It’s not “如果下雨我在家”. This sounds rigid. It would be better if you say, “如果下雨的话,我就呆在家里”. The same as “如果天气好我出去”. Better revised to “如果天气好的话,我会出门”.

This dialogue sounds a bit rigid. There’s no grammar or pronounciation mistake, but it doesn’t sound native. I have the feeling that in order to make it easier, the dialogue is made more like text book one instead of dialogues in real context.

It’s not often to answer this question with “差不多”, if I ask you “how’s the test”. Usually, you can say, “还行吧” or “马马虎虎”.

“神经病” is a quite strong swearing word; and also “脑子坏了”\”白痴”. They are not this proper to be taught in the audio.

And it should be “你没长眼睛吗?”, you need to put “吗” in the sentence.

Honestly, if you say these words to some Chinese, you may get beat. Hashanah, they are quite strong. I do not suggest you using them.

And I have never heard someone use “你很奶油” before. If you want to say a guy is pussy or girlish, you can say, “他很娘炮” or “他很娘”.

“拿手”, the “拿” here doesn’t mean “handle” as explained by Jenny. It literally means “take”。

If someone ask you “你会跳舞吗?”, it’s not a proper way to answer with “我很拿手”. I think “拿手’ is more often related to cook & food.

Tomato is also known as “西红柿”, so the more common name for “tomato with fried eggs” is “西红柿炒蛋”.

In 0:54, “西藏阳光特别充足”. This sentence isn’t wrong. But usually, “阳光充足” is used to describe the environment for plants. For instance, “内蒙古阳光充足,适合西瓜生长’. Here, I think if you use “西藏阳光特别强烈” would be better since you mean to say that “the sunlight in Tibet is also very strong ”.

Sometimes the hosts use more difficult words to paraphrase. For instance, they used ‘凄凄惨惨” to explain “孤独”. But the audience may not know “凄凄惨惨’.

Thanks for your nice audio.
