In Chinese, people like to omit the subjects once it is clear to the listeners. But in this dialogue, all the subjects are saved. That is why the dialogue sounds a bit unnatural.

In the dialogue, “你是哪个国家的/你是什么国家的” can be changed into “你是哪国人”. The latter is more short and common.

And also, if you say “我生在…”, it would sound better if you collocate it with “我生在…但是长在…”, because it sounds more rhythmic.

In the dialogue, the male answered “那不是我,你搞错了”. Here, you can say, “那不是我,你认错人了”.

I hope the topic chosen can be more basic and practical for newbies. Thanks

In 0:49, the hosts explained that bulls sometimes are taken as “God” and many people don’t eat bull meat. As far as I am concerned, I have never encountered someone who takes bull as “god” and refuse to eat bull meat. But people in India, they do such things.

This audio is a new form to teach Chinese to advanced students. This is a nice try and also a nice video. They have made a clear explanation for the poem. But I would also like to give you some suggestions. Why did you choose poem? Because I think even for native Chinese speakers, they may not understand the poem totally. It would be a bit difficult for learners, but anyway, it’s a nice try. I would suggest you thinking about making lessons to introduce Chinese history, famous and influential persons, mythology, etc. These topics are less specific than poems, and are influential to current Chinese thoughts and society as well.
