Both sound friendly because you added a 请 in front of the sentences. But 请看看图片 would sound more polite!

Hi Gavin,

In short, 嘴 is the informal and colloquial way of saying "mouth", and 口 is more formal and more commonly used in idioms and written Chinese.

Only when 正 appears in 正月 , it's pronounced as first tone, meaning the first month. In all the other usages, it's pronounced as the fourth tone.

Thank you for the feedback! You can also use 要是(yàoshì), 假如(jiǎrú) to express "if".

Yes, it means to change the job. You can also say 换工作, 转职, or 跳槽. They have the same meaning.

Hi Yingyue, this series focuses on learning and recognizing traditional characters, so we thought it's best if we keep it as simple and focused as possible. Thank you for your feedback!

Yes you're right, 打七折 would be the correct way of expressing "30% discount". The way it works in Chinese and in English is quite different because "discount" means "off". I've corrected the comment above, and i'm sorry for the mistake.

馀 is a variant form of 余. Although it's less commonly used, it's interchangeable as the other 余!
