June 25, 2011 at 6:51 AMIt's a practice to avoid a sudden and distorted 'pop' sound that can happen when pronouncing words that begin with a P. Professional broadcasters will tell you that it sounds bad in a recording or on a live broadcast (not so good for the audience too). It often happens because of the incorrect placement of the microphone in relation to the speaker. Good to see the Chinesepod crew are versed in how to avoid a fairly elementary broadcasting mistake.

September 12, 2011 at 9:19 AMI seem to be having a problem with the actual podcasts. Not all the components of a lesson are coming through on iTunes. For example, in this lesson, I've managed to receive the actual lesson but the dialogue and lesson review podcasts have not arrived. The same applies for the elementary Hospitality series lesson. Could someone at Chinesepod please check this out? To other Chinese podders: Am I the only one having this problem? Thanks.
