I seem to be having a problem with the actual podcasts. Not all the components of a lesson are coming through on iTunes. For example, in this lesson, I've managed to receive the actual lesson but the dialogue and lesson review podcasts have not arrived. The same applies for the elementary Hospitality series lesson. Could someone at Chinesepod please check this out? To other Chinese podders: Am I the only one having this problem? Thanks.

hi Dilu, no offence taken here. I like the use of vernacular terms whether it is English or Chinese. That's real life and it's good to try and emulate that in the lessons. Please keep up the excellent work.

It's a practice to avoid a sudden and distorted 'pop' sound that can happen when pronouncing words that begin with a P. Professional broadcasters will tell you that it sounds bad in a recording or on a live broadcast (not so good for the audience too). It often happens because of the incorrect placement of the microphone in relation to the speaker. Good to see the Chinesepod crew are versed in how to avoid a fairly elementary broadcasting mistake.

I'm still trying to master one tone, let alone attempting all four! And I hear that there's sort of a fifth tone as well!

Great! no disrespect to the current Qing Wen team who are terrific, I have missed Liliana. Nice to know you haven't been lost for good. I even remember Amber who was also a real talent.

Hiya, I'm having some trouble downloading the audio review for this lesson on iTunes. Could one of the team please check? Everything else has come through fine. Thanks!
