Would you say 咖喱 or 咖喱饭 when referring to Curry dishes? In my native tongue, Curry is just a spice, für the dish you use a different word.

I like that you gave tips on how to solve these language puzzles ourselves. Sometimes we ask a question before we really stop to think deeper, and indeed with these 3 expressions the answer is sensible once one thinks about it. However, using it in the right time might be harder in the moment itself, but I look forward to trying.

I agree with floremorand that you should make lessons on history. Even a person with great Chinese will need to have some knowledge of Chinese history first to follow this lesson with real value.

Wish you’d spoken more Chinese in the video but the video itself was so interesting, I’d love to hear more about Xinjiang since I’ve been there for a few days and want to go back.

For me it’s confusing to have the vocabulary for right displayed on the left and vice versa. I already have trouble with left and right in my own language, but in Chinese it’s even easier to mix up I think. However, this lesson was really fun.

About 玩手机 - does it literally mean playing on the phone or just using the phone in general?

Refreshing lesson, and I really like the format. I wished you did something similar again.

I think the 2nd and 3rd tones are not clearly separated here at all, in many instances, not just “Zhu2”.

Not only is this a really interesting lesson and way of presenting related phrases, but I also really like the concept of the Character Mind Map series. Excited to see what is coming next, keep it up!
