Hey guys, just note that in the dialogue audio and lesson notes we have the phrase 不出俩月 (bùchūliǎyuè). We realize now that we spoke it as the more common 两 liǎng pronunciation.

俩 and 两 both mean "two" and have the same tones. The difference is that 俩 is 1) colloquial 2) a contraction of 两个 so if you do use it, you don't need to use 个。 laughing

The majority of the lessons on ChinesePod are audio only. We only began producing videos in 2014 for selected lessons. The majority of these are on the Qing Wen lesson channel but you'll also see that many of our newer elementary lessons are video also. You can select the video filter on the main dashboard to find video-only lessons.

I'm not sure why that lesson isn't showing up. It's possibly linked to a problem when publishing. I've tried republishing and checking Skritter, but it doesn't seem to update. A work around would be to create a deck on ChinesePod with the title of this lesson, then save the vocabulary to that deck, and then check on Skritter under the "Your Lables" feature. I did this, but Skritter doesn't seem to update automatically so it could be that it only checks and updates at set intervals. I'll check back with my Skritter list later to see if it updates.

Good spot. It's a tricky one actually but the most common is 3rd tone. Second tone also appears in the dictionary and is older (from the Tang dynasty) and might be used in certain situations. Our advice is to just stick with 3rd tone, especially when talking about fields/airports/movie theaters.
