June 17, 2016 at 2:51 PMIt can just mean to stroll around so you don't need to necessarily buy things. Check this link for all the other classes on ChinesePod that contain the word 逛逛 for lots more examples
https://chinesepod.com/tools/glossary/entry/逛逛
with 再 and 然后 there is actually a sentence structure patern when listing out multiple things you did in a sequence. Check the link below first (use zhongwen extension to get the pinyin)
http://www.ans4u.net/ans/再然後最後造句/,
for example, when I wake up I first drink water, then wash my face, and then I brush my teeth and fianlly I feed the cats. With such a long sentence this is the order you would use:
xian1 = first
zai4= then
ran2 hou4 = and then
zui4 hou4 = and finally.
If the list is smaller, I would say they are both cool to use, but if you want more flexibility and make longer sentences, the above order is a great one to use

June 17, 2016 at 9:30 AMOk, the website/notes/and exercises should match now. Not sure about the audio review. Might be hard to change that. Sorry.

June 17, 2016 at 9:27 AMI'm not sure what you mean by " somewhere that I could see some of the words fiona uses" but I think you are wanting a transcript of the lesson.
We don't offer this service, although some users have done transcripts in the past for practice. The best way to learn is by pushing yourself and practising listening to unfamiliar words, even if it means you don't quite understand. At intermediate, I speak all in English, and usually translate what Fiona has said.
Try listening to 1 Intermediate lesson for every 3 Elementary ones you study to get used to the slightly harder format. Check this thread and post on our forum about other users who have a similar problem as you.
Thanks

June 15, 2016 at 10:12 AMHave a read through this forum post while Fiona and Constance discuss. For me, I use nong4 when the verb is either not important, or I don't know the actual specific verb.
Will get back to you.

June 14, 2016 at 3:08 AMHi Sean, check out the Say it Right series where we speak in-depth about the tone change rule and how lots of 3'rd tones go together. This video discusses it specifically, but the entire series is useful.

June 12, 2016 at 3:54 AMYou might also appreciate this lesson called 搭车, and the comments section where Connie explains it also.

June 12, 2016 at 3:43 AMNo, watch the lesson below. Both are acceptable. One is higher quality and more accurate but zuo is fine also.
