September 25, 2014 at 6:56 AMGood question. What you could try doing is click on the discussion tab (you would have to be a premium member to do this). Click on the settings cog and choose to hide english translations. Then go back to the lesson page, (press the back button twice). Highlight all of the sentences, right click and print. That way you should get a printable single page of Chinese characters which you can print out and annotate at your leisure.

September 24, 2014 at 5:52 AMInteresting. Are you talking about the Dialogue tab audio (https://chinesepod.com/lessons/donating-remains?player=new#dialogue-tab) or the mp3 files. Could you try again on a different browser, or try resetting your cookies.

September 21, 2014 at 4:56 AMHere is a forum discussing the similarities of the yin/ying noise in Chinese. At the end of the day, it's what ever comes out of your mouth the easiest, and doesn't hinder communication.

There is a very subtle difference in the noise, so to make it easier, try to really exaggerate the initial zh noise. Try sticking your tongue right to the top-back of your mouth, and say the english word judge.
