Hey Jimmy. The tasks tab, (which we have now changed to homework on the website for clarity) is a way for you to upload a file onto our system, and if you like, share it with your fellow classmates. ChinesePod is a self study resource, but some students like to go a bit further and practice writing out an assignment, recording a short video/audio of themselves speaking, or perhaps just a fun picture. I noticed you didn't share your task with the community, so perhaps if you click back on the tasks/homework on the app/website, you will see a share button. That way the community and Cpod staff can see it and give feedback. Hope that clears everything up.

Here is the link to the instruction on switching between simplified and traditional. Enjoy!

Could you try switching to the new player and seeing if that works (the link is under the player). Also, try listening to the High Quality link. I think it might be an issue with the low quality audio file.

Noted. I'll send that to David to correct. Thanks for spotting it.

It's because episodes are often recorded in advance and scheduled to release so it's possible this had already been uploaded before we decided to remove bg. I'll make sure it isn't on new lessons. Thanks Mike

Sorry about that. We lost the conversations for a bit but now they are back up. I'll go ahead and remove these comments now that the technical bug has been fixed.

Hey there. Usually the supplementary words are just words that came up during the lesson, mostly during the chatty period at the end when the hosts are speaking. It's for those students that hear some new, unusual word, and are wondering how you would say it in Chinese. If you just want to focus on the actual lesson, just check out the key vocab list, the grammar, and expansion sentences.

Hope that makes sense :)
