The other term you're looking for is probably yǎnzòu 演奏 meaning to give an instrumental performance.

With you on the counters though, KFC is the worst in Guangdong. Just the other evening I asked for a Peking Duck wrap to go and they seemed quite unwilling to give me satisfaction. What is the world coming to?
@Chanelle - Only just got my racing heartbeat under control again since your suggestion re. PLA underwear. Really how could you do that to us poor guys? Put such pictures in our heads? ;)
