John says something during the podcast that I cannot catch. It's at 07.09, just after he and Jenny discuss the word

He says something, then says 这两个意思差不多, but what is he talking about? I can't make out the first part of the sentence.

Follow up, follow up!

I'm hooked and want this to be a series!

Interesting that it's the wife under suspicion, in my experience... *cough* ...it's usually the other way around.

Are you sure they were contented? It's a long time since I've seen it, but I seem to recall the feeling the final scene left me with was something like 'it can only be downhill from here on'! lol  Also the two of them having to somehow actually cope with the practicalities of living together on a daily basis was something I just couldn't envisage. Classic movie though, definitely one of the greatest flicks of that decade.

@shenyajin - you're right, and so is persuading her to change her mind later!

re. the dialogue it's clear these 2 have some history, orangina makes a good point!

Kělián de Zhōu Liàng. Poor Zhou Liang!

By the way, the beauty in the red dress can come kick her heels on my sofa whenever she likes.

The dialogue reminds me of an amusing story which was in a book for English learners I once used in some class or other.

A shy young man plucks up the courage to ask a girl to dance, and afterwards feels brave enough to ask for her telephone number. 'It's in the phone book,' she tells him. 'Oh, OK," he says.

Then he realises that actually he doesn't know her name, and when he asks for that she tells him: 'That's in the phone book too.'
'Got it!' he answers with a grin as the girl moves away. It's actually several moments before he understands what happened!

Towards the end of the podcast, Jenny introduces the interesting expression:

团队工作者 - a team player

Checking around I find the related expressions:

团队精神 (tuánduì jīngshén) - team spirit

团队协作 (tuánduì xiézuò) - teamwork

Possible example sentences might be:

我们公司的团队精神很特别。-  Our company has a special team spirit.

- Now we're all working together, our business is going from strength to strength.
