Gifted with a great voice and sense of humor, you do all an ideal Chinese teacher should: repeat Chinese words/phrases, breakdown the words to create associative memory, and not indulge in silly talk. You are receptive to criticism. I was the one who complained for 后鼻音 and you have overcome a lifetime of habit.

组合键 are indeed combination keys (组合=combine) but in many laptops there is a key labelled Fn in color, often orange. This Fn or Function key need to be pressed to in combination with another key with a secondary notation in color to evoke the alternative function. Because the key is labelled Fn, hence, imprecise English translation of 组合键 as Function key.
