Originally we took them out altogether, but most listeners preferred having something as opposed to nothiing. So we hope, for the time being, you can overlook the slight 'funny' definitions that come out at times from the computer generated system!

January 2, 2008 at 3:21 AMhi davelandis, 理发师 (lǐfàshī) the 发 is always pronounced as fourth tone. However, in 头发 (tóufa), the 发 is pronounced in neutral tone.
