December 10, 2007 at 4:08 AMhi henning, In that sentence, 你会参与网上各种各样的调查吗？ Nǐ huì cānyù wǎng shàng gèzhǒnggèyàng de diàochá ma? If it were a hypothetical question, the 你会 (nǐ huì) becomes "would you," but if it's present tense, "do you" is fine.

But didn't have time to get it ready in time, so used this one. I might still change it, this one is so scarily close-up, haha i hate looking at it!

December 10, 2007 at 7:22 AMhi PaulC, 裤子的拉链没拉。 (Kùzi de lāliàn méi lā.) It would be a little strange sounding to say: 不拉 (bù lā) in this sentence. You could, however, say: 裤子的拉链不要拉。 (Kùzi de lāliàn bùyào lā) Don't zip up your pants. 裤子的拉链不用拉。 (Kùzi de lāliàn bùyòng lā) You don't need to zip up your pants. Which come to think of it are pretty funny sentences as well, although perfectly natural sounding, hehe.
