hi dongni, Both expressions are used: 换钱 Huànqián 我想兑换外币。 Wǒ xiǎng duìhuàn wàibì. But the latter is definitely more formal.

hi andrewm, Using the 把 (bǎ) makes it a more complete sentence: 把大衣扣好 (Bǎ dàyī kòuhǎo) 知道了 (Zhīdao le) Is a set phrase that carried the same feeling as the English "I already know".

hi auntysue, Yeah, the difference between ant and aunt in American English is the spelling only! Maybe that's why we say aunty more often.
