几个 (jǐ ge) is used when asking about smaller amounts (generally under 10 or so)
多少 (duōshao) is used when asking about larger amounts

'Promiscuous' is a little bit more accurate, as someone who is 花心 (huāxīn) isn't necessarily in a relationship with someone else.

You could also use:
摆好碗筷 (bǎihǎo wǎn-kuài)
It's a little more commonly used, though Henning's 摆桌子 (bǎi zhuōzi) is also correct.

吃好了 (chī hǎole) means you've had your fill, not necessarily that the food is gone. If you were to say
完了 (wánle) it means the food is all finished.

But that would just mean 'Can you help me?'

拿 (ná) means to take, to hold. Same idea as 'to carry' in this context.
The 'you' is implied in this sentence. You can also add it to the beginning if you like, no difference.

希望 xīwàng： means hope
我希望你早点回来。Wǒ xīwàng nǐ zǎodiǎn huílai.
那件事没有希望了。Nà jiàn shì méiyǒu xīwàng le.
期望 qīwàng：involves hope, but with more expectation, kind of like 'to look forward to'.
妈妈对我的期望很高。Māma duì wǒ de qīwàng hěn gāo.
我不会辜负大家的期望的。Wǒ bù huì gūfù dàjiā de qīwàng de.
