Used on its own, 到 (dào) means 'to arrive'. As in:
我到了。(Wǒ dào le.)
Often, when used in the context of your examples (which are both correct, btw) 到 (dào) and 去 (qù) are interchangeable. In this context, the 到 (dào) means 'to go to'. However, the only difference is that if 到 (dào) is used, it must have a verb following it at some point, i.e.
我们到外面等他。(Wǒmen dào wàimian děng tā.)
他到北京去了。(Tā dào Běijīng qù le.)

过意得去 (guòyìdeqù) is the opposite, and means 'you don't feel sorry' or 'your conscience is at ease'.

The translation is put into natural English, which carries the feeling of it being his 'this time's trip'. It's just not that natural to say that in English. The 'upcoming trip' gives the feeling of 'this time's trip'.

The actual 'term' for shower is 淋浴 (línyù), however it is very seldom used. Sometimes people say:
我去冲一下。
Wǒ qù chōng yīxià.
"I'm going to go rinse off."

In this sentence,
销售是忙。
Xiāoshòu shì máng.
the “是” (shì) indicates certainty, emphasis, as in "Sales certainly is busy." You wouldn't put a 的 (de) at the end of this sentence.

Yes, you can use 团队 (tuánduì) in that context:
一个去农村帮助教英语的团队.
Yī ge qù nóngcūn bāngzhù jiāo Yīngyǔ de tuánduì.

Your sentence is a little more correct either of these ways:
奥运会是电视上最棒的东西。
Àoyùnhuì shì diànshì shang zuì bàng de dōngxi.
奥运会棒得不得了。
Àoyùnhuì bàng de bùdéliǎo.
