As for Tiger balm, I've actually applied it on mosquito bites when I was a kid to relieve itching at times. Did any of you see the movie, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" ? The Greek Dad used windex for everything. Sometimes, I think tiger balm is like windex, an all-purpose cure. Who knows? It just may take care of pimples. :-) Art

October 31, 2007 at 7:19 PMJenny, Here's a pumpkin soup recipe that a friend of mine gave me over 12 years ago. I've made this for my friends when I had them over dinner. My American friends love them but my Chinese friends are not crazy about it. Zesty Pumpkin Soup 1/4 cup butter 1 cup chopped onion 1 crushed garlic clove 1 tsp curry powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/8-1/4 tsp grounded coriander 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper 3 cup chicken broth 1 can 16 oz pumpkin 1 cup half & half In large sauce pan, melt butter; saute onion and garlic until soft. Add curry, coriander, salt, and red pepper; cook 1 min. Add broth; boil gently 15-29 min. Add pumpkin, half & half; cook 5 min. Blend in blender until creamy. Maybe served with dollop of sour cream and chives. Art
