May 27, 2015 at 2:03 AMThe translations have been excellent in the upper intermediate and advanced lessons... thanks! I have a question about one in this lesson, though. How many people would understand or use the sentence "so you're embarking on the life of a trapeze artist," the literal translation of 开始空中飞人的生活? Does this 'life of a trapeze artist" have the same "up in the air" as in "always on a plane" connection in English to you? Just curious. Thanks.

I have a question about the word 未免 from the sentence 事情到了这个地步才想到孩子，未免太迟了… I understand the end part to mean something like "it really is too late" as in 实在是太迟了… is this the right way to think about it? Could you give some more examples of 未免 in context? how about this sentence? 你这么晚打电话给我要求我出来跟你见面，这未免太过分了。Is this sentence right? Could you also explain the difference between 未免 and two similar words 不免 and 难免 and give some examples in context? Thanks so much.

May 23, 2015 at 6:17 AMdefinitely a funny story!! but from a language perspective i don't know how this counts as advanced… I learned more from the two other upper intermediate lessons that I did 密室逃脱 and 打工 and a lot more from the only other advanced one i did 见面三分情 than i did from this lesson … Of course I will do some more advanced lessons to compare myself, but just curious, will the difficulty of this lesson be a standard for future advanced lessons? thanks

I also like that there's very little English used at this level. I haven't used chinesepod in the long time. It's good to be back. How often do new upper intermediate and advanced lessons come out again? thanks again
