I recently started listening to the MM episodes I had missed.  Man I miss these...great for listening comprehension and just plain good fun.

Does anyone have the link to "Dave's Love™", his song for Taipan?  The link isn't in the intro anymore and I'd love to hear it.

mikenotinjubei, I noticed the same thing, with the 不 not showing up in the Traditional PDF or in the Dialogue Tab.

My guess is that it has something to do with the traditional plug-in for Firefox, or possibly the combination of using the plug-in on a Mac.  I've had similar problems with "disappearing" hanzi when using the Glossary.  The hanzi is displayed for a split second, then dissapears.  The same happens with the 不 on the Dialogue Tab for this lesson (only if you're using the trad. support plug-in).  It's very strange.

I wanted to see if it was a Firefox/plug-in issue, so I opened the Dialogue Tab in Safari.  The 不 was there, so that confirms it has something to do with the plug-in.

If Cpod tech. staff would look into this, after returning from break, it'd be appreciated.

alexyzye, I got a 红包 from my boss' parents!  It was only NT$200 (about US$6), but I was surprised and amazed with the generosity.  This doesn't really answer your question, but it's an example.

I agree with ancalagon...the background music is just perfect for this.  These dialogue mp3's are priceless.  I've had both PWP dialogue mp3's playing on repeat.  Very relaxing.

One request...the last few words fade out a bit too much at the end (this only happens on the Lesson Dialogue MP3's).  Anyway to make the fade out begin after all the words have been spoken?  Thanks.

Pete, I have to agree with RJ that it was pretty mild, especially compared with past posts.  My only fear is that poddies will slowly stop speaking their minds freely.  Even if I don't agree with some user comments, I still appreciate their honesty.

I do agree that posts, that are racial, denigrating, filled with hate, or obvious spam, should be deleted.  I don't think licha's deleted comment was any of those.  And though I don't agree with what he said, there may be some merit (or potential value) in some of what he says.

Also, if there's going to be censorship, it should at least be consistent.  If licha's deleted comment from this thread was considered an attack, why not his comment from last week's N&F, and your subsequent reply?

Of course, Praxis should run Cpod as it sees best, I'm just speaking my mind here.  The last thing I want to do is dampen the spirit of a Chinese New Year conversation, but I think this is important.

Thanks Pete.  This is definitely a tricky one.  I thought that when using 了 to show an imminent change, that you also needed an adverbial phrase to go with it, such as 就要 or 快要，similar to what dunderklumpen is saying.

My new year's resolution is to master 了.  I'm not sure what year it will be, but it is my life's goal!
