April 21, 2008 at 5:40 PMDude, relax a bit. The only time you ever post a comment is to whine about people not using pinyin, or to complain about people "ranting". Here's a hint: Get over it! Life is not perfect, and not everyone is going to do what you want them to. The sooner you accept this little fact of life, the better off you'll be...and the less we'll have to listen to your whining.

April 20, 2008 at 3:45 AMHope you feel better Ken. I have a question about the use of 是 and 有 in the following expansion sentences, when used with 感冒 (to have a cold): 他感冒了,不能来。 (He has a cold, he can't come.) - Doesn't use 是 or 有. 我没有感冒。 (I don't have a cold.) - Uses 有 你是不是感冒了? (Do you have a cold?) - Uses 是 Is there a rhyme or reason to using/not using 是 or 有? Thanks.

April 19, 2008 at 12:17 AMJust curious, are MM's only going to be bi-weekly instead of weekly? Or was there not one today because of the move?

April 18, 2008 at 7:27 PMInteresting that "owl" in Chinese is "night cat".

April 15, 2008 at 9:11 PMAhhhh, thanks light487...that's nice of you! Strange, I never received my member registration e-mail from the forum, so I figured I wasn't a user. Just as well....I'm kinda scared to have access to the conversations AND the forum.

April 15, 2008 at 2:36 PMLight487 and Hitokiri6993, much thanks for the early birthday wishes! However, my b-day isn't for 6 more days...I really don't want to add on another year until absolutely necessary. Light, how'd you know my b-day was coming up? Should I be scared....should I change my locks? ;)
