I have several books on the history of characters in the world. These books have one thing in common. They all show "very poorly handwritten" example Chinese characters and Japanese kanji. I always suspect that Western people don't have an eye for beauty of Chinese characters, hehe. Below is another proof of this "hypothesis".

看上去 Ellen 写字很熟练的样子,好像他平时提笔写字的机会比较多。我这个人写字真的不行。我已经忘了最后一次手写文章是什么时候,估计会有很多人跟我一样!

现在越来越多的中国人在土豆优酷等视频网站免费看电影和电视剧,所以花钱买盗版的人越来越少。侵犯知识产权的手段也日进月异,越来越省钱!

Hi munnin266

Exactly speaking, Japanese Kanji characters fall somewhere between simplified and traditional Chinese characters. Japan officially started using simplified Kanji soon after the war, but the degree of simplification in Japan is "modest" compared to that in the PRC. Below are some exmaples. Please be noted that there are still lots of characters in common, just like , among the three character sets.

Traditional.....機,學,單,藝,
Japanese.......機,単,芸,
Simplified.......
机,单,艺,

Hi welhome

I think you are right. In this case, you can also just say, 我也一样, which I often use when I want to say "it's the same for me". Incidentally, "instant coffee" is translated as "速溶咖啡" (su4rong2ka1fei1) in Chinese. The most well known brand in the PRC is, of course, 雀巢 (Nescafe, que4chao2). I just can't live without this here, hehe.

Hi unclefester

我们必须好好把握“把”的用法!
We have to get a good handle on the usage of “把”.

PS. I think your interpretation of the pun is also correct!
