I know that, and I remember I learned the lesson about 坐月子 before...... Personally I don't get interested in this "happy event" series very much, but I think these lessons are very useful for some foreign guys who married/marry/will marry a Chinese, hehe.

哈哈,这个例句很好,就是我家里天天能看到的事情!
主人吃饭时,小狗眼巴巴地看着,但是主人就是不给它吃。

再耐心一点吧,我猜测,还有“分娩孩子/给孩子起名/坐月子/产后减肥”等课程等着你,千万不要错过了!说实话,这种话题我也都听腻了,哈哈。

Speaking of the interjection "啊" (a), there is a tip about the choice of a character. You can choose a different character according to the sound before the interjection. Of course, you can commonly use 啊 for the interjection regardless of the sound.
多快呀!(duo kuai ya)
多美呀!(duo mei ya)
害怕呀!(pa ya)
天哪!(tian na)
命苦哇!(ku wa)
....... etc

The 儿 in the word "这儿" (zher4) and that in 女儿 (nv3er2) are two different things. The former one is merely a 儿话音, which doesn't have a tone, but the latter one is not. The word 女儿 (daughter) is made of two characters, 女 (female) and 儿 (child). For the record, 儿女 (er2nv3) means "sons and daughters" (儿子+女儿).

喏 (nuo4) is an interjection, which means "look!" or "you know".

The sound of 啦 (la) is made by combining 了 (le) and 啊 (a), so 啦 is used to imply the sentence is "past/perfect tense", and 啊 is for "present tense".
这半年我都干吗啦?
现在你干吗啊?

I understand what you mean, but it's a matter of interest. I still prefer lessons such as "Jizhou series", although I know some people don't like Sci-Fi topics very much. In short, you can't please everybody!
