Hi bendidelaowai

东北地区, where we live, was most severely hit by the enterprise reform in 90s, since there were a lot of heavy industry manufacturers in northeast China. And this is one of the reasons why 东北地区 is still economically behind southern coastal regions in China.

I've never cared about lesson order before, and I will not care in the future too, because I listen to ChinesePod every day. It makes no difference for me if it's random or scheduled release, which means that "scheduled" is also OK with me if some people prefer it, as rjberki pointed out.

Hi christine30550

我想问你一个问题。看来很多德语单词的性别由历史原因决定下来的。那么谁(or 如何)决定新词的性别呢?

Hi shanyajin

Thank you, that's a nice translation! As for your question about German words, maybe tarcy can answer you, hehe. Honestly, I'm just a super-newbie of German. I don't even have a German dictionary.

Hi shenyajin

I have a question. How do you say "It's a historically determined (or established) name" in Chinese? Thanks.

Hi tarcy

Pete说的很对,我也希望你继续发表你所说的“啰啰嗦嗦”的文章。掌握“主题-说明句”对学习语言很重要,适当地运用这个语法概念可以让你说/写很自然的汉语。我“引颈以待”你发的帖子!

There is anothe word that indicates "deja vu", "既视感" (noun). The phrases 似曾相识/似曾见过 are used this way, "我有似曾相识的感觉".

Hi alexyzye

几 is usually used when you expect a number smaller than ten, and 多少 is for a number larger than ten, and this is the reason why you say "你几岁?" (How old are you?) to a child, and say "你多少岁?" to an adult person, although there isn't a clear line between them. For example, you say "现在是几月?" even though there are twelve months in a year.
