August 20, 2007 at 6:35 AMThe RMB has been appreciating against the USD very gently under the masterful control of the Chinese government in the past few years. So Chinese companies have had enough time to prepare for inevitable price hikes. In that sense, the sudden rise in the hammer price is completely unacceptable. Peter, what about India-made hammers? Learning Hindi might be fun, though there is no Hindipod as yet.
