"发福" is a very useful word in Chinese. It's a roundabout way of saying someone is fat. Fat people are welcome in China since they look rich. But a fat dog is not welcome in my home. My greedy-but-lovely dog is still putting weight. Some of her beautiful clothes are already too small.

Bargaining is one of the most enjoyable things for foreigners in China. If you learn it, you would lead a successful life here. Getting a refund isn't easy even for experienced local people. It might be almost impossible for foreigners. So your second best strategy would be replacing an item right away, although a replacement might go wrong again.

Man2Toe先生 日本当然有很多星巴克连锁店。 日本人原来特别喜欢去咖啡馆。 我不知道美国的星巴克怎么样。 但容易想象它们卖的蛋糕挺大。 我在中国只去过大连的星巴克。 虽然价格贵对那里的印象很好。
