good point pretzell, it is still generally the same faces. Still there was a run of months earlier this year when even the regulars weren't posting at all frequently. I agree it would be nice to pull out some more lurkers.

pushing 200 comments.....fair to say Cpod has now worked out the magic formula for encouraging poddie participation and I'm confident today's new UI release will also be successful in this regard.

"confidence is one thing, outright aggressive is another"

Passive aggressive is even worse!

"The were language focussed at that point."

How novel of them mate ;-)

Although I must say I do enjoy these occasional comment board forays into the deeper, philosophical meanings of CPod dialogues! I wonder what the actual author of this dialogue makes of our in-depth (over?!) analysis from the poddies above!

Oh, and my congratulations also, I think you definitely win the gold medal for cpod's longest ever post with that one a few above, hehe

Based on my experience, WhatsApp has been very big in China amongst the expat community (including HK'ers and Taiwanese) for the last 12 months or so, certainly amongst my circle of friends. I can also attest to the growing popularity of WeChat amongst locals, my wife uses it with her friends all the time.

baba, 8 badminton players were disqualified for this reason in the women's doubles last week. Also one of the 800m runners yesterday. Unfortunate for the individuals concerned, but certainly makes the above sledging more potent!

Thought I might partake in some Pommie Aussie sledging with a great quote from today's BBC Olympics coverage....I don't understand why the IOC are exhibiting such double standards. They disqualify certain individuals for not trying hard enough but let the entire Australia Olympic team stay!!  haha
