March 17, 2008 at 2:55 AMpaulc, If you are talking about Guinness, you would call it 建力士 (Jiànlìshì) Its a great translation...建 (build) and 力士(strength), if you are familiar with their old ad campaigns..."Guinness builds strength"

March 13, 2008 at 2:14 AMzhenfu, huasen, simongrant, Note taken on the visual arts. We do have a lesson coming up on march 27th about going to the Art Museum, as well as a lesson on deciding what art class to take, April 28th. On top of that, we have one titled "The Pickup Artist" coming out this month. Ha, so quite a bit of "art" will be on the horizon...

March 11, 2008 at 7:38 AMxiangle, of course, you can say what ever you like when someone asks you how you are doing. That said, we presented to you a very high frequency response to a very high frequency question. Much like in English, you may ask someone "how are you" but would not necessarily want to hear a detailed report on how they really are doing. You are just being friendly.

March 19, 2008 at 6:14 AMlinguisticpotato, Many of the lessons through 20 had some technical and recording issues. Also, there are references to things that are no longer a part of Cpod (ie. Learning Center) and many reviewed previous lessons, which we obviously don't do anymore.
