andytilla, here is one for you. 你信什么教? （nǐ xìn shénme jiào） What religion are you? 我睡觉 wǒ shuìjiào I sleep dadank...ching. so the play on words here is "jiao". Like any play on word jokes, a bit corny, but it usually gets a laugh. (Im 1 for 1 with this one btw...)

daolin, 满意 is definitely pronounced "mǎnyì " in standard Mandarin. The people he was talking to might have had pronunciation influenced by a local dialect.
