mandomikey, Each player has a cup that goes along with their dice. After each players shakes the dice up, you place the cup upside down to cover them. So each player has their own set of dice hidden from each other.

This game enabled me to socialized in China with nearly NO Chinese ability. I learned so much Chinese through this simple game. Even if you havent nailed down how to say 1-10, you can play! They almost always use the hand gestures in place of saying the numbers, as the bars are generally loud. Chinese numbers by hand [proxied link for those in China] however, I usually saw "10" made by making an plus sign with two hands. One other good one is to make a slashing downward motion with your hand in place of the Chinese word to show the dice, 开 (kāi). And the more the drinks are flowing, the more animated the slashing gets!

danthemanw, RJberki, Lester and the rest... Ha. Yeah, i had a little fun with this pic. There is no Interstate 4 in the original, therefore no such sign. I also did a little switcheroo on the arrows to accommodate the proper tones for 10 (going up) and 4 (going down). when people where trying to guess where the sign was, i couldnt resist a little tease...
