May 6, 2012 at 1:06 AMIn English if you say "whatever" （我无所谓） to a suggestion, it often has a sulky/rude connotation. Does that also happen in Chinese? And if so is it only through tone of voice that you would express that or is there a particular phrase that can impart that?

October 3, 2011 at 2:00 AMThank you for getting back to me so quickly. I'll try an Internet cafe this afternoon. It's still not working from my home. I do have a vpn so it's not a disaster if I can't access it without but it's sad that Chinesepod needs a vpn from inside China!
I think Beijing has more access problems than Shanghai.

Is there anything you can do to make it load in a more stable manner and, maybe faster? When it's not blocked it's interminably slow!
