从一个贫穷的国家到外国工作的菲律宾人往往被老板欺负。但他们大部份的领导人一点也不为他们着想。他们对捏錢比较感兴趣。这是一种很坏的俗习。

I am genuinely happy with my daughter's school. It has no frills: PE is running around the tracks and no foreign language (but we are handling that with membership at the Y and Saturday Chinese class). Otherwise, I am very impressed with their test scores. When my daughter was in 4th Grade last year, they dissected a pig's brain and a frog in the science class. I can tell you that this is something I cannot teach her since I dislike blood.

When she goes to middle school, I would like her to take 1 or 2 AP courses. Maybe Math, since I have 2 nieces who have Masters Degree in Math and Statistics respectively. A talent for Math seems to run in my husband's family.

My biggest challenge is to keep her focus. She does have a role model in Rachel, a daughter of our family friend. She is very pretty and her present husband fell for her when she was only 14 years old. This made her parents very nervous but with communications she graduated as an optometrist and has been in that field for 2 years.
