April 20, 2007 at 10:04 AMI was really laughing at the wheel coming to work with this today. What's interesting is how different these can be across languages, starting with 英语 and 法语 , let alone 中文, 漫画 (manga) is a good source for this. There's a few I'd like to know but I first need to find the English equivalent, Wenlin not of much use there.

April 18, 2007 at 9:40 PMvery late for Santa, but hey, just had to study that lesson for my call tomorrow... Mpixel is simply 兆像素 (zhàoxiàngsù) where 兆 (zhào) is 1 million. So 12 Mpix is 十二兆像素 - and Giga as used for memory capacity, not pixels yet is 十亿 (shíyì) or simply 'G'.
