May 12, 2010 at 8:00 AMDoes that mean that, unless I specify a subject, if I say, 不管了, I'm referring to myself, saying that something is not my responsibility?
How about 算了for "don't bother"? Would that work?

May 12, 2010 at 2:39 AM哇!那么厉害啊!真的可以看见你非常喜欢台湾,你得很热心。但我觉得你不该带太阳眼镜。眼睛帮助人更好的沟通。
Really impressed!

His products seem quite widely available...I'll have to look for them in the supermarket! Anyone tried them?

May 11, 2010 at 5:33 AMCan you describe how it looks different?
If it's the left component, 冫, I can understand how that might look different in Word according to the sort of font currently open in your Word document. The second stroke in that radical is really hard to duplicate with a pen or pencil, so in handwritten Chinese the radical is often written with one downward/right and one downward/left stroke. Perhaps the Windows font reflects this?
Just a guess...

How exciting, a trip to Beijing! How long will you be in China?
If you search the site for "Beijing", you'll find a couple great Elementary lessons specifically discussing the city.
