There`s not much left to say...We`ll surely miss you, Pete.

Best of luck!

I still find it hard to distinguish between the "ch" and "zh" sounds. To me 转 zhuan4 and 传 chuan2 sound almost the same (except for the tones, of course).

Thanks again, Changye!

你怎么知道,这就是我对老公想说的话?!(Can I use 正好 here?

Thanks Changye! I didn't know that 相对 could be used in a metaphorical way. I always thought it was just a way of saying "in front of" or "opposite to". That helped!

Is this sentence correct?

1:51 Pete said "Everything is relative here".

I've always wanted to know how to say this in Chinese. Can anybody help me?

Great lesson! Thank you.

Connie, 。。

对了,提到 发给你 这一句子,which is more correct, 发给你   或者  给你发 ?

Pete

Thank you so much for demystifying chinese poetry and making it reachable (and thus enjoyable).

Now it's time for a well deserved break, but please don't leave us waiting for too long!! I don't want to put too much pressure on you (as we're still on PWP's farewell day) but, what about Bill's idea of starting a new "Chinese Literature with Pete" series in the near (or not-so-far) future?

Hi Rjberki,

Thanks for the link. Very interesting. The reason why I wanted to buy some white tea was because I had heard about its antioxidant effects and its lack(?) of caffeine, but I didn't know much about its taste and flavor. Well, at least now I feel relief to hear it's not as enjoyable as drinking green tea!

The link says that white tea is also produced in Japan (where I'm living right now) but I haven't found it in any of the tea-shops around here either. My Japanese family (my in-laws) haven't even heard about it, so I might as well stick to "my beloved" green tea.

How nice to listen to other poddies voices!! I wish I had been brave enough to be on air when I visited Cpod last year. Actually, I was given the chance to listen to the recording of QingWen, with Connie, Amber and Jp, but felt too embarrassed to say anything at that time.  I wasn’t very good at choosing the right time to drop by, as I didn’t get to meet Jenny (even though I dropped by twice!) But everyone else was so nice that I can assure that next time I will do like Luke: I will go to Praxis offices straight from the airport! The second time I visited them back in July, I was introduced to John, but he looked so busy that I couldn’t really talk to him more than a couple of words. I have to say that visiting Cpod was one of the best memories I brought back from my days in Shanghai.  It was great to see the way things work at Praxis. I got the impression that they have managed to create a really nice work environment (no need to say, as we can feel it everyday on their podcast (^ ^) Ken, Amber, Clay, JP, Connie, John ...they were all really nice and helpful. I really hope I get the chance to meet you guys once again!

Here is a picture I took with Connie at the recording studio. I hope you remember me, Connie! Clay
