March 20, 2009 at 2:03 AMI`d say that 意识到 is more related to your thoughts (your mind), whereas 想通 has more to do with your feelings. Am i right?

March 2, 2009 at 5:00 AMYes!!please Cpod, i'd love a QingWen on the use of "而" !!
...that said, i think it's great that QingWen doesn't only focus on grammar, but also on pragmatics. "Learning" pragmatics is the only way we're going to sound natural, and it's not easy for those of us who aren't living in China to get the right use of some words and expressions.

February 13, 2009 at 8:15 AMHi Changye!
It seems that at last my prayers have been answered by Morinaga's makers! This year they have come out with a new concept of chocolate: the reverse-chocolate (逆チョコ)

I hope I'll get some ;P

February 13, 2009 at 5:46 AMI used to like Valentine's Day until i came to Japan...here Valentine's Day is a time for women to give chocolate to men (no matter if he's your husband, boyfriend or just a co-worker)and there's nothing else but chocolate! (no books, no flowers...)
Every year February 14, i miss those good old days back home :D
