May 6, 2011 at 12:19 PMInteresting stories with few references (some blog is not really a definitive reference) but it is obvious that the Chinese simply have a habit of using opposites to make words. With the long history of and blending of dialects, I really doubt that any one definitive 'source' can be attributed to this one word.
Also, consider that the concept of 'stuff' is such a common word that it is difficult to believe we can target one time and locale as the true source of that word. Especially considering the long history of China.
But keep trying, the 'stories' are interesting. :-)

June 19, 2013 at 1:54 PMHmmm, I have never seen the issue. I just went back 20 or so lessons to check and the content is still there. I know this not helpful if you do have the issue.
What iPhone do you have/etc.? I am on a 4S w/IOS 6.1.3.
Is yours a 4 or 4S? Any chance you have a jailbroke phone?
