还有，为了传宗接代，有人要男孩子，但是我觉得不管你的孩子是男女的，父母一样的基因gets passed on.

August 7, 2009 at 9:37 PMAlthough talking about politics raises tension, here are my 2 cents. I agree that the media does exaggerate at times and of course they LOVE negativity. Also, life is fair. Naturally with a rise in power, people will start to question you.
Regarding this topic, I recommend the book: "China Road" by Rob Gifford (used to work for London's NPR)

August 4, 2009 at 10:30 PM锦江乐园 in Shanghai has been around since '84. It's where the big ferris wheel is located. This is more of your casual backyard amusement park. It's not too huge but great if you happen to be in the neighborhood.

July 17, 2009 at 2:47 AM久仰 can only be used for those you've met for the 1st time but have known for a while, then can 兴会 be used for just those NEW people you're meeting for the 1st time? I also assume that 兴会 is formal?
