Two questions: What is the ability level of the guests? How long in total have the each been studying? Thanks.

This weather forcast was relatively relaxed compared to the one on the local Chinese radio station. It sounds like the announcer was told she would be fired if she couldn't give the day's forcast for 60 cities in 60 seconds. (SF Bay Area)

我比较喜欢喝啤酒,否则第二天难受。 在那个情况下每次都我答应自己再不喝酒。

我不太知道书法,并且对我的想法拼音比较自然的,所以我总是用拼音输入汉字。

Henning, I've heard that 了 also has an "over" kind of meaning, as in the radio communication. "I won't eat -over-" meaning that it is the couterparts turn to talk. Perhaps, this is what is goint on here.

John, Computers are my day job. So, you could probably go a lot deeper. However, assuming that would bore everyone else, I'd like to have a podcast on how to talk about data. (e.g. we have here a graph of visits to our site broken down by lesson level, over time. ... You can see from the bar chart that CPod is a big success ...) Mark

No ninjas, please. I learned how women talk to be catty in English from somewhere. If it is part of the language, I want to hear it.

This is the first intermediate lesson where I've understood every word by the second iteration of the dailog in the first hearing. Either you guys are teaching me something, the lessons are getting easier, or you've hit upon a subject that I can talk about.
