吵着闹着 and 训练 could do with being in the vocab.

Is 咱们 used throughout China? I had a feeling it was only in the North (?)

It sounds like there are going to be a lot of very unhealthy only children in China ....

Actually I am not bothered about popups going. I use Perakun popup dictionary https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/perapera-kun-chinese-popup-tra/ which can be used on any web page ...

Vera - "Being terribly sorry" is not good enough, nor is the post you reference.

I am sure you are not the one to blame, but Chinesepod is fast losing my support after seven years.

We paying users are treated with contempt - we are not told what is to happen, we are not told what has happened, we are not listened to. New changes are not tested, and there are more and more cases of poor quality control.

Well it's obvious what has happened - a software change that has not been tested properly, and of course we the users have not been informed - as we have come to expect.

I fear after seven or years using Chinesepod, I am losing patience

Well Vera, the new recording of the word now sounds fine to me and the Chinese people I have asked.

Far be in from me to insist publicly that a Chinese person got it wrong initially.

I have now asked a Chinese teacher from Beijing to listen to 销毁. She says that it the second character is indeed pronounced wrongly.
