In the expansion:

喜欢球赛。Why exactly is there a 了at the end?

In the dialog there is the sentence

HSK?什么东西

I might be wrong, but to me it sounds like the woman says the 东西 with an "e" at the end. I mean that instead of dongxi, I am hearing dongxie.

I am in Tianjin right now and I have no issues with downloading the material (without VPN).

I had little bit the same feeling. Not the normal QW quality, at least from elementary level point of view.

他们在说什么?

Is this used also when you understand the language/dialect, but you are not sure about the topic/issue (joining an ongoing discussion)?

I might have missed something, but I am a bit confused about the 雇佣. It means to employ (at least in .pdf), but you guys talked something about relationship between employer and eployee.

I assume that this word has also non-verb meaning that you described, as a verb it is used like the other "hire/employ" verbs, right?

My understanding is that if one uses bank card for paying online it requires that you have "online banking" enabled from your bank and usually you have to use a USB memory stick provided by the bank to be able to use the bank's online paying system.

I can check from my wife later, she is the real expert in our family when it comes to online shopping :-)

My Chinese bank card (ICBC bank) does not have my name either. But the bank card cannot be used without the pin code. And you cannot withdraw money from the bank only with the bank account number.

My Chinese credit card (China Merchants Bank, Visa) naturally does have my name.

Thanks.

So without "是" it is more like "(I am telling you now that) you will sing first and then me." Right?

In the expansion section there is a sentence:

然后

What exactly is the 是 doing here?
