Thanks a lot Qingwen team for producing another excellent lesson. Last week, I had just asked my teacher the same questions about "在" and time phrase. I have always thought that "在" was only used for location. Now I understand more about "在".

Yes, 情形 is also a commonly seen and heard word which also means "situation" - how is this word different from 情况?
